What are tissue culture plants?

ANS: Tissue culture plants are grown in a controlled manner through plant tissue to produce healthy plants that are also genetically identical. It helps in creating homogeneity with regards to growth and appearance. Moreover, it reduces the possibility of contamination. It is particularly effective for growing large quantities of plants that are scarce or extremely valuable and has a shorter generation time than most other methods, therefore suitable for both horticulturalists and scientists.


How are tissue culture plants packaged for shipping? 

ANS: Firstly, use a thick plastic bag to provide an additional layer of protection for the plantlets. Then, place the plantlets inside sturdy paper or foam boxes to ensure durability and stability during transport. Afterward, wrap the entire package in aluminum foil to shield it from external heat or cold. Include synthetic fibers inside the box to cushion the plantlet bags and minimize impact during transit. Lastly, securely seal the box to guarantee safe and successful delivery. Moreover, we also accommodate large purchase orders with the same level of care and attention. Our shipping services are customized to ensure safe, efficient delivery for all order sizes.

Every order includes a complimentary Phytosanitary Certificate, provided at no additional cost. This certificate ensures that the plants have been inspected and meet the health standards required for international shipping, guaranteeing they are free from pests and diseases. 

 

How much is the shipping cost?

ANS: The shipping cost depends on the destination country and the quantity of items. You can refer to our chart for details. 

 For countries not listed in our shipping chart, there are two options:

  •  If you have an import permit, we can proceed with your order and include a Phytosanitary Certificate. Shipping options are EMS ($65, 15-20 days) or DHL ($190, 7-10 days) The shipment will be delivered to your doorstep. However, in some cases, you may need to contact customs for clearance. Please note that I cannot be held responsible if customs seize the plants. summarize in one paragraph.
  • If you don’t have an import permit, we can declare the plants as home decor items on the Air Waybill (AWB). Since we do not arrange for deliveries which get intercepted by customs, we shall compensate for the shipping amount in such cases. The EMS shipping is at a cost of 65$ with 15-20 days delivery period.

 

How should I care for my tissue culture plants upon arrival?

ANS: To successfully acclimate your tissue culture plantlets, begin by leaving them undisturbed for the first 1-2 days to adjust to the new temperature, which should be between 25-30 °C. Next, prepare a fungicide solution (e.g., Captain, carbendazim, or betadine) and a rooting hormone, then gently clean the plantlets by removing any obstructive materials and gel from their roots. Immerse the plantlets in the mixed solution for 3-5 minutes, ensuring they are thoroughly dried afterward. Prepare the planting material and place the plantlets into pots, burying them at least 2 inches deep. Place the potted plantlets in an airtight container, keeping them in a shaded area away from direct sunlight for 3-4 weeks. Gradually introduce them to ambient air over the next 7-10 days until they are fully acclimatized.

What is the return policy for tissue culture plants?

ANS: We guarantee protection against damage during transportation, including breakage, agar gel spillage, and other potential impairments. Refund requests are available within one month of delivery. Please record a video when unboxing as evidence for refund claims. Once the plantlets are planted, we are not responsible for issues beyond the sale. Variegated plantlets are guaranteed, though external factors may affect appearance.
